Have admittedly never watched a Chucky movie but just booted up Cult now, very excited

i honestly didnt realize they were only dvds when i looked at it initially. sorry folks!

 

i've expressed my lukewarm thoughts on Creep before but maybe i'll revisit it this October to see if it vibes any better

I rewatched Creep the other day. It's so great. Mark's performance is really exceptional.

 

i don't have a blu-ray player and i don't know what 4k means. i still use dvds primarily, if i don't have it digitally. i don't even own a tv though, haha.

 

I’m another in the boat that didn’t enjoy Creep. I’ll give it a rewatch one of these days before the sequel comes out. I’m hoping my expectations were just too high for the initial watch. We’ll see!

 

Really enjoyed Cult of Chucky.

It was! I liked more than any of the episodes American Horror Story Cult has come out with so far. I hope it can keep the quality throughout the season. Are there only supposed to be 6 episodes, like last season?

 

Ya, wikipedia says it's 6 eps. I haven't watched any of Cult. I keep hearing mixed things. I enjoyed the Roanoke season, though.

It really was.

 

I was pretty excited for Cult of Chucky but was letdown overall. I've seen all of the Child's Play movies, excluding Seed which I just now remembered I need to watch, and this one ranked towards the lower part of the list for me. I thought the setting of this film would make it an instant win, but I feel like that may have been the biggest problem I had with it.

 

Update: 'Hocus Pocus' is Getting a TV Remake - Bloody Disgusting

 

Not sure how they can beat the original
