Evil Dead 2 is a classic. Haven't seen the original in forever, and I really want to do a rewatch.

Still need to check out AoD, and the remake

 

Watched Crimson Peak with the wife last night. The sets/costume design was great. The rest was reallllly bad. Very diss appointing because I'm a pretty big Del Toro stan.

Though that's probably the only movie of his I didn't enjoy.

 

The script for that movies third act is like wtfff. And not in a good way.

 

ED2 and Army of Darkness are both classics. Love both of them, need to watch them again soon

 

the Evil Dead remake is one of my go-to horror films. i'd put it in my MySpace Top 8.

 

This makes me happy. The remake is one of my all time favorites and the series is so great and a fun ride. Let us know how you dig season 2, it has some wild moments.

This is random, but I'm watching Mad Men right now and it took me until Season 5 to realize that the girl from The Blackcoat's Daughter is Sally Draper. Kiernan Shipka.

We Are The Flesh was thoroughly disturbing. Aside from the vibrant colors and some interesting visuals, I didn't get much from it. It's possible I missed something, but it seemed like a lot of shock value for the sake of shock value. None of its ideas felt very fleshed out.

Watched Just Before Dawn last night. Really great atmosphere, solid acting and a good ending. One of the better slashers I've seen in a while. Recommended.

It's really good. In fact, I thought it was near perfection up until the last 10-15 minutes or so.

 

Watching The Void and the continuity error of the bloodstain on Danny Boy's uniform from scene to scene is driving me batty.

 

I'm watching Angst (1983) (it's on Shudder and I recommend it!) and I feel like I'm going to need to binge watch Parks & Rec afterward until I pass out.
