For real though, that was one of the wildest yet most confusing films I've ever seen in my life.

 

i figured that was the case. just giving you a hard time. years ago i used to use blu-ray.com forums a lot and people would post while watching movies and that was like the most horrendous thing someone could do to those people.

 

Tbh unless the movie has subtitles I usually am on my phone during it. But tbh I watch trash movies that don't demand ur full attention

 

No worries man, no offense taken. I feel you on that though, that is mad irritating. Especially in a hive of scum and villainy like those forums *shudders*.

 

do you do this when watching with people or only when watching on your own?

 

Usually on my own. It depends what I'm watching. If it's something more formulaic like a sitcom episode or a run of the mill PG-13 horror movie I'll look at my phone. If it's something that requires more attention I won't. But sitcoms and PG 13 horror is mostly what I watch so I'm on my phone a lot lol. I guess I'm in it for the comforting background noise at that point

 

I need to cut back on using my phone during movies. I pause so much to read or post that I probably double the runtime at times

 

Are They Recasting 'The Strangers'?! - Bloody Disgusting!

 

I just tried to sign up for Shudder through Amazon, but it was also going to charge me for Prime. Can I get it through Amazon without Prime?

there is no reason to have a sequel to this either

 

I'm a sucker for premises like that, but it's definitely only getting made because of The Strangers title, and even then it seems to just be inching along

 

could very well just be a new set of characters in a house and people in creepy masks that somehow ties back to the first film. either way, i'd watch. loved Strangers.

 

Wow, I haven't seen Strangers in awhile. I need to watch that. What a great movie. So simple and can so happen in real life at any given time haha.

 

I know I was just talking about me being on my phone during movies but I showed the Strangers to a friend and she was on her phone during all the creepy subtle moments like when the masked ppl are lurking in the background and I was so distraught

 

Gotta rewind that shit and rewatch.

 

I couldn't stand The Strangers. I don't know. I've never thought much of Liv Tyler as an actress and she kind of ruins it for me.

 

the movie was fine, a little too sparse for its own good but it did a decent job of developing and maintaining tension despite that extreme minimalism. but I see no reason how a sequel will serve any good purposes or improve on it.

 

Don't Breathe was such a treat. Really enjoyed it.

 

Hounds of Love was great. Finally watching Love Witch and it's incredible

 

I watched Get Out again a couple nights ago. Soooo good!

I've been wanting to read this book for a while, definitely gonna now

 

Oh sweet, I enjoyed that book.

 

Midnight Meat Train is so over the top, but in a good way.

 

I was going to read it next month for an online book club thing so this is convenient timing
