They're not one of my immediate go-tos, but I lists if they're covering a movie I've seen

Starting to watch We Are The Flesh, hopefully this is as good as I've been hearing it is.

I usually lurk and not post...but anyone have thoughts on Hounds of Love? I watched it this weekend and am still digesting.

 

I haven't seen it but I really want to

 

Looked it up, sounds like a great premise

 

Aaaaaand we reached what many would consider porn in We Are The Flesh

 

I saw the trailer at a Blackcoat"s Daughter screening, and it made me want to see it, but the grime and despair conveyed seemed like it was in the movie for the sake of it and not because the story necessitated it. Of course, that's only my initial reaction, and I do want to check it out so at the very least the trailer did its job

 

from what I read, nothing in the movie is gratuitous

 

I'm so lost watching this movie

 

Love the show since the first season. Need to know what will happen to Rance familiy

 

That's really cool. If that's the case, this movie will probably be powerful. I don't even know what the premise is but the trailer left an impression on me for sure

 

basically from what I can gather: it's about a married couple who kidnap a teenage girl and torture her, hold her captive, etc. but there's obviously a lot more to it than that. I think that's as much as I'd like to know going in. I'm sure you'd probably agree. definitely one of my most anticipated

Or it was it was a rather confusing film with themes and symbolism I'm still trying to digest and analyze. Plus, I can pause a movie to post something when I take a leak or get a glass of water.
