I've actually never seen a F&F movie so I don't think that was it. But dear god, does a rat sound so much more awful than a beetle. I'm cringing.

 

The only other movie I can think of that involved a bug entering skin were the Mummy movies.

 

Yeah I remember that one too - made me cringe at the time lol. I could very well just be remembering things incorrectly so it might be a lost cause :x Thanks for the attempts though!

 

Speaking of that, remember the fight between Nefertiti Anok Sunadmdfodif whatever in The Mummy Returns? Goddamn that was good...haha

 

Something like that happened in Game of Thrones but that's obviously not what you're talking about plus there wasn't a flame. I do feel like I've seen that somewhere.

 

Lolol and yes!! I'm not even going to pretend I didn't like those Mummy movies. Not quite horror but still a fun watch.

 

Brendan Fraser was on track to being the next Indiana Jones. It's a real shame whatever happened to his crazy ass.

Plus we got a CGI Rock as the Scorpion King.

 

It Comes at Night gets a June 9th release date. Going up against The Mummy which will, unfortunately, do much better.

 

A24 is on a roll. This looks amaaaazing.

Honestly I'm 99% sure this is it even though my synopsis was so unbelievably off of what happened in the Sinister snuff movie you're referring to haha. I will need to rewatch it just to make sure, but yes, this is most likely it. But yeah, nice job with my poor description even. Thank youuu!!!

I spent all of October/November/December watching at least a horror movie a day and I KNEW I'd seen something like that during that time.

 

I attempted one of those a few years back but fell off after about two weeks. Kudos. Do you (or anyone else) log any of your movie watching via Trakt? If so, add me. Always interested in seeing what other horror movies people are watching. I also need to step up my movie watching, I've only watched 5 since the beginning of the year.

damn but this sounds like something i've watched and i haven't seen sinister 2. reminds me of the matrix bug scene. but of something else as well god damn it.

 

Holidays... man, anthology movies are just too damn uneven. i'm beginning to think they're doomed unless they feature a common director, artistic vision is just too all over the place (not to mention the shorts were... idk, not really scary, at least not so far).
