I enjoyed it, but the young cast wasn't convincing enough for me. They were all too damn pretty.

Couldn't you say the same for the original?

Emma Roberts is a gift. Loved her in Scream and Scream Queens.

Yea I guess, but I think the acting in the original was far more superior.

Culkin was definitely the exception in Scream 4. I'd like to see him in a bigger role.

He's done a great job in the few movies I've seen him in. He was the best part of that home invasion movie Intruders for sure

Keep hearing good things about the movie Split and I'm a huge McAvoy fan....but do I risk getting burned by M. Night Shamammer again?

I'm really interested to see that one. Haven't watched the trailer (there's a trailer, right?) but the premise sounds sweet.

Did you feel burned by The Visit?

Yeah, the trailer is cool but all his movies have cool trailers. I did dislike the Visit a lot. Esp since the climax is literally shoving a shitty diaper in our face lol.

Just popping in to add more praise for The Invitation. That was such a refreshing movie for the genre - I felt the same way after I watched You're Next.

Also, The Visit was shamallamadingdongs best effort in years. To be clear, that is not saying much.

The visit was a step up for sure, but still not a good movie. After Lady in the water, happening and AE anything would be a step up.

  18. I liked The Visit, didn't love it. There definitely some early hype for Split, though. Crossing my fingers.

I thought the Visit was wonderful no matter how you looked at it. I'm always going to root for M Night

Just watched Goat. Not at all a horror movie but tense/queasy enough that I'm sure some of you guys would like it.
