Heretic was fucking bonkers lol. I think I loved it? I'm really gonna have to chew on that final act because its reach might have exceeded its grasp a bit, but wow, just really unhinged and cool to look at and dare I say fun? I'm not really sure what to make of it, and that's usually a good sign

still haven't had the chance to watch it yet, but i'm excited to do so. i think i might end up blind buying the UHD when it comes time. we'll see.

 

I wanna rewatch that, I fell asleep during the second act due to a combination of being high, heated seats in the theater, and admittedly being a little disinterested after the setup.

Not sure how well known this is known, but Campbell confirmed that New Line Cinema did call him to discuss Jason vs Freddy vs Ash, however, as soon as he was told that he would have no say in the fights or the outcome of the characters, he turned down the offer.

Watched Red Rooms on a plane - was surprised to see it as an option, really - and loved it. Dark stuff for sure. The ending wasn’t necessarily my favorite but it didn’t hurt the movie for me at all.

 

I'm still navigating that ending, lol

 

My closest theater finally added Nosferatu showtimes, so I grabbed a ticket for 10:05am on Christmas. There were already 3 other tickets sold, so I won’t be alone. Lol

 

A John Carpenter score gets me so hyped.
