    Yeah, They Look Like People is still very good, perfect length and cast, really splits the difference between disturbing and devastating and beautiful. Has anyone watched that director's other films? The Siren or When I Consume You?

    Phantom of the Paradise is also fucking awesome. One of the most stylish films I've ever seen. I can't believe this pre-dated Rocky Horror Picture Show AND does all the De Palma split-screen shit. Total banger

    An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

    When I Consume You is good, arguably even more bleak than They Look Like People. maybe not quite as powerful but there's a scene near the middle that has stuck with me since I watched it

    While checking for Nosferatu at my go-to theatre again, I noticed some Christmas Eve showtimes were added around me elsewhere. Still not at the theatre I want btw.
