  4. If we're just talking horror, I think mine would be I Saw the TV Glow, The Substance, Maxxxine, Lisa Frankenstein, and Kinds of Kindness.

Looking forward to doing another thread list for this year! Apparently Nosferatu was getting rave reviews and Awards talk.

  5. I liked Scream 4 more this time around than I did on my last rewatch too. Arguably the most brutal of the movies? Nowhere near as cozy as the third one, and I do think it's where the motivations really start going off the rails, but the hospital sequence really makes it stand out.

I wouldn’t count Kinds of Kindness, but it’s up there for me in general.

Next ones would be MadS, In a Violent Nature, Daddy’s Head, It’s What’s Inside (if it counts, might be more sci-fi), Terrifier 3, Trap, and Maxxxine.

  8. This would be unnecessary without Reitman, it's worse that it is Reitman

  13. I missed a few I was interested in: Blink Twice, Strange Darling, Alien: Romulus (I still need to watch the first one! I know!). Heretic looks like it might be fun, but the only ones left this year that might crack the top ten for me are probably Nightbitch and Nosferatu

I loved it. Got a little wonky at the end but overall I thought it was pretty cool.

  19. Not horror per se, but I watched my comfort movie again last night (and just in time for the holidays). Eyes Wide Shut.

Watched it this time last year for the first time as an adult. How is that movie simultaneously comfy and also unnerving? Such a cool experience.

  22. There's truly nothing like watching Nicole Kidman psychologically cuckold Tom Cruise for two and a half hours against a nighttime New York backdrop lit by a million Christmas lights. Warms my heart

  24. This isn't gonna be for everyone -- I don't even know if it will be for me -- but what looked like Argentinian torture porn takes a sharp turn into something very creepy in the final 20 or so seconds of this trailer. I'm curious
