  1. Requiem is unwatchable but the first AVP is so fun, y'all are wrong about that one

  2. Also for anyone who liked Hellbender, The Adams Family have a new film called Hell Hole on Shudder. It's definitely a creature feature riff on The Thing and Tremors in Siberia. I'm only half an hour in and I'm not convinced it's very good, but I'm having fun (which is the same way I felt about Hellbender, but I know some people who loved that one)

I’m willing to give it a shot. I enjoyed Hellbender for the most part

  4. The truth about AVP that no one wants to accept us that it's an action horror film in the same vein as Aliens And Predator, and while it's not as good as those films, it feels fresh for the franchise(s) and absolutely delivers on the titular mash-up

I haven’t seen it since theaters and I’m willing to give it another shot I suppose

Oh shit. I have followed the people behind milk and serial on TikTok for a while. Didn’t know they were the ones that did it. That’s neat

  9. Nevermind, it brings me no pleasure to report that this one sucks. Watch AVP instead lol

Great film but Its better on second viewing and what surprises me on 2nd viewing and it's like an 1hr and 40mins film and it felt shorter than that because of it's pacing, it flew by!!

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Blink Twice wasn't really on my radar but the trailer actually looks good, also I'll watch anything with Kyle MacLachlan in it

  23. Man, I know it comes up every so often, but Behind the Mask (The Rise of Leslie Vernon) is just so, so good. That should have been our next slasher icon. It's so crazy to see that proto-Cabin in the Woods thing done in like 2005 because it's just so earnest and genuine. I can't believe there hasn't been a sequel and that Nathan Baesel hasn't done more films. (The lead actress is wonderful, too). The format change in the third act can be a little jarring, but the rest of it is strong enough that it's hard to care. I'm sure most people in here have seen it, but that's a must-watch for me.

  25. A tiktoker said there was a trigger warning ahead of Blink Twice due to the It Ends With Us controversy, but that that was hardly enough to prepare her for how upsetting she found it. She thought the movie overall was really good tho
