Idea for the next Blair Witch movie that I just randomly came up and is probably stupid.

It’s a faux documentary where they reveal the original movie was a hoax and they play up how the marketing had everyone thinking it was real back then. The trio goes back to the woods with the film crew to do a reunion/anniversary type thing for the doc and it turns out it wasn’t as much of a hoax as they thought.

I was watching Gonjiam Haunted Asylum thinking there's a lot of these "oh shit actually the ghosts are real" premises. Would love to see one where the ghosts aren't real, but a very real human killer is behind an area's haunted reputation.

Give me a blair witch inspired by the movie who moved in and started killing people.

Watching The Strangers Chapter 1 at my friends’ house and all 3 of us almost wanted to turn it off after that “crime statistics” intro

 

I am in on Robert Pattinson but not really in on the director of Smile doing it, even if I thought that movie was alright. Morbidly curious about the whole thing, though.

 

I’m not even going to try to be nice about this movie. I fucking hate it. I knew what to expect but it’s still a bummer because I love the first two. And I’m annoyed that I’ll have to watch two more chapters because I’m insane.

We still have 40 minutes btw. This one hurts my soul

 

weird when they just made a great remake of Possession called The First Omen tbh

I genuinely and strongly advise anyone that hasn’t watched The Strangers Chapter 1 to continue their life that way. Lol

To anyone that’s seen it, what’s so bad about Strangers Part One? Definitely waiting for it to stream based on how bad it’s been received.

 

I saw one part that was 100% product placement for the Ally app lmao

 

I’m not exaggerating when I say everything is bad about it. I can’t honestly think of one redeeming part of it. Just top to bottom trash. We weren’t even at least laughing at how bad it was.

And I was probably one of the most excited people in this thread for it originally. I have no doubt that I’d probably get more out of that Tarot movie. But I’ll still watch the next two because I’m crazy and love this franchise, so maybe I’m not the one to listen to. Lol

 

At least I Saw the TV Glow drops tomorrow. I might be forced to wait until next week for one of our movie nights, but I’m excited to hop back on the 2024 horror hype train

I haven’t been to a theater in years and I’ve looked at all the free movie sites I frequent and still nothing :(

 

Based on Late Night with the Devil, my guess would be a July release on Shudder

Edit: might even be an early July release because LNWTD came out so fast, but I think Shudder already released their June lineup
