Catching up on Joe Bob with Graduation Day tonight, might follow it up with The First Omen

 

Looking forward to your thoughts on the First Omen

 

First Omen was great. Very 70's horror feel.

Now I want to go back and want the first 3 Omens. As a kid I always thought Omen III (the one where Damien is an adult) was awesome.

 

And it's Sam Neill in the third!

Not sure if I'll get to Violent Nature this weekend but I did First Omen last night and really, really dug it.

Felt familiar but had some genuine creepy moments and a few things I'm surprised they visually got away with. It's unnecessary to really choose one over the other, but I did like this quite a bit more than Immaculate.

 

Same for me. Added them to my queue and will hopefully crank them out over the next week or so. I've never seen any of them beyond the OG and the remake.

 

Is First Omen worth watching if you’ve never seen and don’t care to see the other movies in the Franchise?

 

yes. it stands alone and it's absolutely phenomenal

 

Absolutely. First Omen is so much better than the original Omen imo

I just saw this and was coming to post it. Incredibly sad news. I’ve been following him on Twitter for years and it’s going to be weird to not see him post anymore. He was probably the only person on there that still always gave me a good chuckle. RIP Scott
