Great movie.

 

Infinity Pool was crazy and not even remotely close to what I thought it’d be. There were a couple things that bugged me but overall I think I liked it. Mia Goth was amazing once again and Skarsgard killed it.

 

I walked out of infinity pool thinking "ugh that was weird idk if I liked that at all" but I have thought about it almost every day since I've seen it, which was a while ago!

Infinity Pool rocks. Slight step down from Possessor, but yeah, it's bonkers in a good way

 

I think people have trouble with it because the main hook / sci-fi horror twist element becomes kind of secondary as the movie goes along.

It ends up just being about unhinged rich people who have no fear of being held responsible. Which is an interest concept but kind of not what I expected the focus to be.

 

Found a copy of The Terror (1963) yesterday at Good Will for 2 bucks. No idea if it's any good but it's a Roger Corman feature with Boris Karloff and Jack Nicholson. Always love a good thrift horror find.

 

Yup. That was/is my biggest gripe about it.

 

I think it works the more I think about it but it definitely threw me when I was watching it.

 

Just finished Them: The Scare on Prime. Loved it

 

So this isn't the one Chloe Okuno is directing but that doesn't necessarily mean she's no longer attached to the franchise?

 

Didn’t realize I Saw the TV Glow was only a limited release this week. Now I’m bummed I have to wait another two weeks lol

 

I'm a bit annoyed by that too lol

 

Gonna start watching a bunch of classic 70's/80's horror films that are streaming. Feel free to add any recommendations. Here’s my list so far.

Has anyone here watched Infested yet? I could handle (and actually enjoyed Sting) but this looks much worse in a skin-crawling way
