So I’m sick as hell and passed out like 10-15 minutes into The Sacrifice Game last night. Trying again now lol

I thought it was pretty bad unfortunately. But I guess your results may vary because I looked into it a little and it seems I’m in the minority so far, though there isn’t a whole lot of reactions either. I didn’t watch Aladdin but I hope Mena Massoud was better in that because he was easily the worst part of this.

Also the cold medicine made me crash so I watched nothing last night and I don't know if I can watch anything with a fever this bad :(

 

Hope you feel better, friend! I luckily don’t have a fever but I’ve been sick as shit all week and still feel like I’m just getting worse.

But I finally watched Saw X and really liked it. Not sure what I’ll watch next. I made a playlist on plex of 2023 horror movies and might just shuffle it if I can’t decide on one.

 

It’s finals week and I made myself sick from the stress so I feel like shit. Also, turns out a paper was due Friday and I was thought it was due tonight like the normal assignment dates. That’s fun.

Probably true, but I’ve never been able to finish it!

 

For some reason I thought 2021 version of Silent Night (w/ Keira Knightley) was a horror flick. And while it wasn't scary, it was dreadful as fuck and it absolutely tore my wife up. Strong The Mist-ending vibes, but somehow possibly a little worse? Definitely wish we wouldn't have went in blind now so I could have saved her the heartache. With all that being said, it wasn't bad. The first half was actually hilarious it just took me a while to actually figure out what the hell was happening.

 

i am very sick, completely unable to sleep and having a bit of a panic attack, anyone have any cosy horror recs for this awful vibe lol

Watched Event Horizon last night, still a banger. A couple of minor things that hold it back from being truly great, but Neill and Fishburne are SO good, the set looks amazing, and it's just so gnarly. So sad we'll never see that director's cut.

 

The airlock scene still makes me so goddamn uncomfortable!

 

The Ring is my cozy movie. The dreary PNW setting just makes me wanna bundle up with some tea

Finally got around to watching The Wailing over the weekend. It’s really good, still processing it. I’m surprised it isn’t talked about more.

 

Did it last night! Never not in awe of how good it is. Also never not in awe that it's the same Bob Clark that did A Christmas Story.

 

Hell House Origins and Brooklyn 45 were both solid. Should have my top 10 ready to post this week
