Prometheus is the perfect Christmas / year-round horror flick.

 

Randomly threw on The Andy Baker Tape yesterday, it was by the numbers found footage but definitely fun enough for being an hour long.

Anyways, I'll kick off Top 10 lists for the thread:

Top 10 Horror Films of 2023
1. Beau is Afraid (I believe this to be more of a nightmare comedy, but because the genres lend themselves to each other and others consider it horror, I want to include it! My favorite film of the year.)
2. Brooklyn 45
3. When Evil Lurks
4. Saw X
5. The Wrath of Becky
6. Infinity Pool
7. Horror in the High Desert 2: Minerva
8. Evil Dead Rise
9. Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor

Honorable mention would be Knock at the Cabin. If others want to post their Top 10s before December 26th, I will tally up points and come back with an aggregate list.

 

I should probably stop watching episodes of Dateline and catch up on some movies from this year, so I can form a list. It sucks constantly being in a rut

Can't believe Megan is from this year. Feels like it's been out for ages lol

 

I don’t get to watch nearly as many movies as I used to anymore so my end of the year list is only useful if it’s top 10 movies I saw this year or something. I’ve probably seen 2 or 3 movies from 2023 at best.

the new Hulu beta on Disney+ has a surprising amount of good shit if you don't feel like continuing to pay for both

 

It's insane and very good at what it's trying to do lol, I recommend watching the Joe Bob version

 

It’s only been out for a day, but has anyone checked out The Sacrifice Game on Shudder? I saw Olivia Scott Welch from the Fear Street trilogy was in it so I just downloaded it.

I'm on a bunch of Nyquil, what should I watch? eXistenZ is no longer available to me without ads. Might do Event Horizon or Sanctuary. Or a classic Godzilla film.
