The Shining on the big screen is a must. Saw it a few years ago and so many of those shots just sing on a larger format.

I feel like Tremors was on USA every weekend growing up, and I watched it every single time.

Tremors 1 is good. The rest somehow get worse and worse when it seems like it’s not possible. Like the little engine that could at making bad sequels

  14. Tremors is essential viewing. The sequels are straight-to-video trash, but they're my straight-to-video trash

  16. Wait so in Willy's Wonderland they're children killers and in FNAF they're killer children?

Just finished The Stuff for the body horror movie from the 80's. Not nearly as much body horror as I was hoping for, but it was still a fun watch. The adventure movie score was an interesting choice. 3/5

  20. I love A24 and I love Halloween, but I don't think I want an A24 Halloween TV series

If it’s an anthology Halloween show then I think A24 would be fine, but I don’t think A24 is the right studio for anything with Michael Myers. As history has shown us, a Michael Myers film is best when it’s simple and whenever they try to add more backstory or themes it just ends up a mess. If A24 tried to throw in its usual “elevated” metaphorical spin on things then it wouldn’t work.

No One Will Save You was fun. I couldn't help myself from chanting "FEET FINGERS" throughout it to bug my fiance though

The Stuff rules very hard. I don't know if I would consider it Body Horror though, might even say it's more inanimate object.

Agreed with the A24 criticisms in regards to Halloween. Also, can we maybe give it a rest? I say this as someone who holds the Halloween franchise up higher than the other slashers too. I would love to see another property shown some love and attention, or better yet, more efforts made for original content. If Halloween is just the easiest to get your fingers on, fine, but it has been rehashed the most at this point and I do not want burnout to occur for folks when they see Mikey.
