On my list. The director, Emily Hagins, is the one who made Pathogen when she was 12

 

I honestly loved all 3 Media House films. The little segment on Snapper was awesome too. Great addition from Terrorvision

FINALLY saw Possession, what a picture. Absolutely in love with the camerawork.

 

What's cringe about it? I'm skeptical because Lights Out was hot garbage, BUT I think it's cool that Parsons is getting this opportunity as a 16-year-old that already does some insanely impressive things with his videos. His original Backrooms short is truly fgreat, and he would have been 14/15 when he made this:

There can be well done examples, but a lot of back room stuff I’ve seen is also really bad or over the top edgy. It feels like they’re grasping onto a vaguely relevant online horror idea, it’s only going to be as good as the people making it decide to take it.

 

I am ride or die for Lights Out idec!! That and Darkness Falls are my thing. I'm always a sucker for horror movies that play on fear of the dark. Not quite the same but I'll lump 30 days of night in there too
