  1. Just got a 30 day free trial of Prime (again haha), which meansss I have Prime Video for a month. Spooky season isn't over until I say it's over.
Prime: Tucker and Dale vs. Evil, Candyman (2021), Let the Right One In, Monsters, A Quiet Place part 2

  5. I'm still slowly making progress through Castle Rock but like wow this is actually really good. Hopefully without giving too much away, I wanna say that S1E7 is really similar to Haunting of Bly Manor episode 5.

  6. arguably better than the first!
not to be harsh, but unfortunately, this also makes you a bad person
this was def the vibe for me. thought it was great, a ton of fun, but after being spoiled by stuff like Get Out and other films with social commentary tied to their reveals, I think it was just... not what I was expecting

  7. I'm on my honeymoon, but I'll chime back in with the second half of my 31 for 31 (along with ratings and where to stream) when I can! Couldn't watch anything on Halloween (I was busy IN the Myers house at Halloween Horror Nights), but before we left, my last film for the month was It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

that's like the only episode I remember but yeah it's really fucking good. I still think about it

I remember finding the ending of s1 so bad I just stopped watching but YMMV haha

  14. Well shit I only watched Misery this past month because I wanted to see what Lizzy Caplan would do with it in season two haha. I got it on DVD so I might as well stick with it

I never watched s2 so it might be great for all I know! I mean Lizzy Caplan does rule as a matter of principle. I just remember being so disappointed with I think the last two episodes of s1 that it turned me off lmao

  21. The behind the scenes documentary for Werewolf by Night is really sweet

  22. It was so great! First time going. We were tuckered from flying so we didn't do all of the houses, but we did do six - The Witches' Coven, Halloween, Dead Man's Pier(?), Blumhouse, Universal Monsters, and The Weeknd. (I had seen a walkthrough of Bugs on YouTube and those were the ones we were most interested in). Halloween house was incredible. Only complaint is how many people they let in at once. I got a Ghoul Juice in a souvenir cup and a fiery tater twist. The wife got street tacos. They were all good! Fun bonus, the Lacto-Kooler beer is brewed where we live in Erie, Pa!

And again, thanks so much, everyone. Such lovely people in this thread.

So happy you both had a great time! Dead Man’s Wharf (Pier?) was my favorite, it had such a mood. I might be biased because it’s New England themed

  24. Yeah, huge The Fog vibes (with a little bit of Blood Hook, too!). I need to watch walkthroughs for the three we didn't get to - I was really curious about Descendants of Destruction. The Weeknd's house was bonkers lmao.
