2 and 3 are significantly better than the first but if you don’t like incredibly dramatic and toxic psychics idk

(ok yeah it’s pretty boring too)

 

if the drill head puppet was coming at me from under the bed i would simply pick him up and throw him out the window

 

they're boring for the most part and not very good but I will always have a soft spot for them

Damn I was literally going to watch the first one today for the first time, now I'm reconsidering.

 

watch the version hosted by elvira so you can at least be a little entertained by her jokes

 

there is also the possibility that other people might feel differently than you

 

none of them are exactly brilliant or anything but I still contend that they're fun

something that really entertains me watching the first puppet master is pretending all the puppet pov shots are from the perspective of little kittens

 

i changed my mind, i love puppet master now

 

also imo watching low-to-no-budget trash nourishes the soul

 

I think there's something wrong with my Ring 2 dvd because my pc won't load it so I guess I'm not watching that today

 

Last year I watched Ouija: Origin of Evil because it's Flanagan even though it's technically a prequel. It was... okay. Anyway, starting Ouija now, not really expecting much, kinda just wanna see how the prequel fits into it.

 

Origin of Evil is great! The original not so much

 

verdict on Halloween 3: still rips

on 4: yeah pretty great stuff. loved the atmosphere of this movie most, the blue colouring and the autumnal feeling of it all was really... cozy lol? terrific performance by the girl who played Jamie too. sucks I already know they don't follow up on that final twist cos man Jamie becoming the new killer would have been sick

definitely a healthy ratio of awesome dumb shit (Loomis hitching a ride with the religious weirdo) and stupid dumb shit (randomly blonde Michael throwing Loomis through the fakest looking window ever made)

 

You should 100% watch Puppet Master. It is low-budget for sure, but what it pulls off with that, the vibe, the atmosphere, and the MUSIC...it's really unique and great. 2 and 3 are also fun.

 

Just finished Ouija and yeah, not so good. Prequel had potential, Flanagan did his best to elevate it, but a lot of stylistic choices that carried over felt very off brand for him and brought the movie down. Blumhouse has been very hit-or-miss for me.

 

Halloween 4 is maybe the last one I really enjoyed but what is up with the mask in it lmao

 

Looks fine to me.
