We’re All Going to the Worlds Fair was eerie and unsettling at times, but was ultimately unsatisfying. Kinda hollow and felt like forever despite the short runtime. I did love the score (shoutout to Alex g) and some of the concepts even if it didn’t fully connect.

Still excited for Jane’s next project.

I had that on my watchlist so I’m curious how I’ll like it

  3. I felt similarly. Was so excited based on the premise and score, but it just dragged and didn't really deliver anything. Pretty big letdown for me.

Speaking of slow movies...Wrinkles the Clown is less than 80 minutes and I feel like it's been hours lol

The worst thing that can happen in a horror movie is nothing. Bad horror movies are still fun to watch because something happens, the worst horror movies just go nowhere. World’s Fair is a great example.

Wrinkles the clown has been on my watchlist forever because of his look. I guess I’ll continue to put it off.

  6. I went from kind of digging it to actively disliking it over the span of like 45 minutes that felt like two hours. Do not recommend

Was it know that Terrifier 2 is apparently 2 1/2 hours long!?!? My local theater just posted tickets for sale and the run time was included

Reviews for it are great. It’s not playing near me but I am considering driving to Cleveland for a viewing.

Yeah, Wrinkles the Clown was not great.

I'm hearing good buzz about Barbarian and might go see it tomorrow.

  10. Also hearing Barbarian is insane and considering going alone this weekend lmao. God I wish I knew someone that liked horror near me.

I guess the real horror is having to sit through Art the clown for that long

Barbarian is the first movie since Midsommar that's giving me anxiety before going to see it. Just hearing about how unpredictable it is and such lol

It seems like it'll be more on the fun side of crazy, like Malignant, rather than the disturbing side like Midsommar, so maybe that'll be reassuring. The Bloody Disgusting review said it was a crowd-pleaser, so I'm hoping it's just a wild, crazy ride instead of fucked up.

  15. Idk - the tweet I saw called it "genuinely perversed" lol. Will not be trying to convince my fiancee to come because she still has nightmares about Don't Breathe. We had no idea what we were in for there.

I’m super excited for Barbarian. Haven’t even watched the entire trailer. I want to go in as blind as possible.

The Gate is such an underrated gem. Also great gateway horror for the young bucks.

If I were to take an educated guess on Barbarian it's gonna be balls to the wall over the top outrageous, not so much terrifying. Zach Cregger was part of the comedy group WKUK. Not saying it's going to be a comedy, but they know how to elevate scenes to ridiculous levels. Raimi comparisons too

Did not realize he was the director, definitely changes my expectations.
