I watched The Descent the other day after watching Underwater and absolutely despising it. The Descent holds up so well. Moving on to Alien next to scrub myself clean of the disappointment of Underwater with other superior survival horror movies.

I also adored The Empty Man. No idea why Disney pushed Underwater harder than The Empty Man given they were both in the Fox bargain bucket.

Well, Underwater had Kristen Stewart and Empty Man did not.

Should've been called Underwear-ter given how much the director made her run around in it.

  4. Based on Letterboxd, I liked The Empty Man lightly more than Underwater, but at this point, I would probably rewatch watered-down Alien over a movie that is at LEAST half an hour too long. Both were solid with some flaws, choosing between the two would just depend on my mood.

  5. I really enjoyed Underwater. Enjoyed Empty Man less so, but I gotta admire it's ambition.

I definitely recommend catching the first one and The Littlest Reich.

  11. I adore the first one and 2-6 are very fun, schlocky 90s VHS rental fare

The latest one was a ton of fun. Tom Lennon is so great.

I must be in the minority. Underwater was a top ten movie for me last year.

Never been into the Puppet Master movies.

  14. In fact, I'm currently trying to decide between Empire Strikes Back, Jurassic World (doing a series rewatch), Puppet Master: Axis of Evil, and Ghoulies for tonight lol

    Underwater was 2020

I didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. Probably wouldn’t ever revisit it

Underwater was fine. Was fun to see TJ Miller die. Oops spoilers.

With Gourley and Rust put their OG Halloween episode into their free feed and them explaining that there’s a face in Michael’s knuckles on the poster just blew my mind.

Saw this on sale the other day and I couldn’t say no. I also need to start collecting more 90’s horror stuff.

This is outrageous! I know this has something to do with Pooh falling under public domain, but I'd loveeee to know how Disney feels about this. Do they even care?
