Starry Eyes and Witchboard are 28 years apart but that was gathered from a rough google search. If actual release dates vary a little bit, that could be it.

 

Would love that because I haven't seen either of them!

Scream vs. F13 has me nervous

 

Quality folks...not quantity.

 

I'm not going to argue that there aren't a couple of stinker F13 flicks, but I will say that the strengths of the two are actually very similar - delivering exactly what their audience wants and expects. In that sense, I don't think the Scream movies are actually that much stronger. It's more about what you're looking for than it is an objective quality thing imo.

I love Scream, but each movie hinges on a twist, so personally, I don't revisit them nearly as often where as I feel like I can throw on a F13 flick almost anytime. It just defines (literal) campy 80s slashers for me.

 

I honestly don’t care for Scream outside of the original

 

Coincidentally, I treat the Halloween franchise in a similar way (III gets a free pass).

 

I know F13 is gonna take this and I am planning to be mad when it does. Scream gang

Speaking of F13, I have this Friday off, so a marathon will ensue.

 

Yeah I'm gonna fit in as many as I can this week, probably 3D - New Blood and maybe the remake

 

My gut instinct was to respond emotionally to this, but it's too sensical for me to argue with LOL.

 

Kirby is going to be in the next Scream installment. I'm so fucking happy.

The best thing about the OG was the mask. Ditching that for a clown costume is just an abysmal choice if you ask me.
