Fresh was good and kinda came out of nowhere? Some big Thomas Harris vibes.

  2. Just popping back in to report that Dawn of the Dead is still the best movie ever made

  3. It was a Sundance movie this year

  4. Yeahhhhh you guys weren't kidding about the title sequence 30 minutes into Fresh hahaha love it

Really annoying that hbo max got all the nightmare on elm street movies except the 4th one randomly. I really don’t want to rent it for $4. I also don’t want to just skip it. So dumb.

  6. Fresh was good. Kinda like the yassification of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre with a lil Tusk and Get Out thrown in for good measure lol.

Started Southbound again (I remember not liking it), but the CG skeletons look so bad in that first part. Just wasn't feeling it, so I threw on Bad Hair instead. Really enjoying it so far and looking forward to finishing it tonight.

  8. Bad Hair was great, like Evil Dead by way of Jordan Peele. Delivers on the social commentary and bonkers premise in equal measure. Also looks fucking great

The Boy Behind the Door was alright. It is exactly what it's marketed as - 85 minutes of sneaking around a house, so if you're into movies like that, you'll have a good time (even if it's a little predictable)

Gonna try to catch X on Friday

  11. Watched The Girl Next Door on Netflix not really knowing what I was getting myself into (just reading Stephen King's comments about it) and folks, it's a true day-ruiner. Might fully send it and watch Threads later tonight

I read through the actual story and it made me feel sick so idk if I wanna see it play out in a movie tbh

  16. Yeah, it's...not essential viewing, but I will say that it didn't feel like an exploitation film. Like, none of it was really played for shock (they don't show everything that happens). It felt like the best acted, most disturbing Lifetime film ever made. I can't say I'd recommend it, but I think it's well-made and not presented in poor taste.

Threads was NUTS. Two day ruiners on two different scales lol. Going to see X tonight.

  20. Any word on how much RE will be based on the game's?

From what I briefly read, it's based in the future? And has it do with Wesker's daughter I think. Might be way off but that is what my brain is telling me on the spot.

  22. If it has to do with anyone's daughter I'm surprised it's not Ethan's, although maybe they're saving that storyline for a later game

Playstation, Xbox, and Steam for PC. I would have liked to have it for Switch too tbh lol
