Got the urge to watch the '97 made for TV version of The Shining after hearing them talk about it on Gourley and Rust. I'm kinda loving it.

 

Munsters is going to be PG.

God damn Martyrs is such a good movie, thought maybe I just had nostalgia for it but it really does rip

 

Still haven’t seen that one. Always been super hesitant.

 

I mean, it definitely should be considering what it is. I AM curious about how Rob will do what’s basically a family movie though.

 

The kid who plays Danny is annoying, Steven Webber is cool though.

 

Started watching Urban Legend and regret it so much lol

 

Are there any new horror movies coming out soon to theaters? I can only think of Black phone and that isn’t until June.

I NEVER realized Elvira and the biker babe from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure was the same woman. Love it!

 

I normally wouldn’t comment on something I didn’t finish, especially a movie I’m sure has some twists and turns up its sleeve, but my girlfriend and I couldn’t make it through Fresh. Not sure what we’re missing but we couldn’t stand the characters and thought the writing was pretty atrocious. I don’t want to write it off completely and I might try it again soon, but I was honestly a bit surprised to see so much hype for it!

(Loved the opening credits though.)

 

Did a lil Shudder double-feature last night. The Seed was bad-good fun, borderline Full Moon Features at times but it's an easy watch and the practical effects are really charming. I also regret to inform everyone that The Scary of Sixty First was...interesting. And really self-aware. I really expected to hate it, so I was shocked when that wasn't the case.

Also, Silver Bullet rules.

Silver Bullet is easily a top 3 werewolf movie.

 

Saw Silver Bullet two Halloweens ago at an outdoor marathon and I’ve been dying to rewatch it ever since.

 

If any of you are Chicagoans, this is gonna be rad as hell.

Just put on the original Nightmare on Elm Street for the first time.
