Man, the unrated version of MBV has some top notch gore in it.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

all for opinions and everything but seeing New Nightmare ranked below the Michael Bay reboot gave me heart palpitations for a second lmao

I noticed Madeline Brewer from Braid was in this so I gave it a shot. Liked it more than expected.

Realized I left out Ouija and a couple other Flanagans, so here's the updated list:

I thought I'd have trouble doing one a day this month but it's the 10th and I'm already at 14

Watched Bava's Shock and Michele Soavi's StageFright tonight.

Apparently Shock isn't that well liked, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Now StageFright I absolutely loved and now I hate myself for the fact that I've never seen it before today.

Had a dream last night that my town built a huge memorial statue for Casey Becker downtown.

Finally watched Spiral today! I don't think it was as bad as I was made to believe but definitely felt like it was missing something. Would definitely like to see another with the remaining survivors and see where that goes.

Started My Soul To Take just now too. Remember watching it when it first released and hardly remember any of it

Spiral felt the first part of a two part story imo. It would be interesting if they do something like I Saw The Devil and have Chris Rock’s character go down a spiraling (heh) dark path after the end of the first one.

    NOT TRUE!

I mean, The Beyond is amazing, and definitely the superior film, but LSJTD is a total vibe. (Plus the scene around the dinner table, and probably the seance, as well, are two of my favorites ever.)

I’ll have to give that a rewatch, I saw it years ago and it didn’t do anything for me.

Haven’t seen the others but definitely check all of these out!

Sure you’re already aware, but Sole Survivor is basically the non-teen version of Final Destination.

It’s definitely not for everyone. It just has a very special place in my heart. In a film with some spotty acting, the lead absolutely n a i l s it.

Could definitely see this. Reminds me of like a Donnie Wahlberg in Saw 2 type thing or something

Watched Ginger Snaps over lunch. Never seen it before. That was awesome! Came out in 2000 but definitely like the a 90’s movie in the best way. Great characters, great writing, funny, great story. Definitely an immediate favorite and felt like one of those films I’ll revisit yearly. Easy 4 “skulls” from me.

Just watched it as well and felt the same way. Couldn't tell if the script had just been written a few years before it was made or did the 90s not hit Canada until a lot later. Still loved it.

I thought I’d revisit the Poltergeist remake..big mistake. Abysmal movie and an abysmal move on my part.

It may be my hottest take but I kinda think Ginger Snaps is pretty boring. The third act is especially disappointing
