  1. I want to watch Malignant in theaters (and rewatch Shang Chi at least a couple more times) but even my mom is telling me I shouldn't be going out so much

Speaking of Peacock, they have come thru clutch with Phantasm 2. First time I've seen it available to stream ever.

Starting my horror movie run tonight. Going to try to do one movie or an episode of a show each night from now through Halloween now that school is done. Going to aim for all things I haven’t seen before but we’ll see.

  5. Doing Donnie Darko tonight (never seen the director's cut but love the theatrical) and, finally, Happy Birthday to Me lol. I always say I'm gonna do that one and then get distracted by Youtube or don't make it to a second movie. I need JBB in my life to keep me going!

Which, by the way, The Last Drive-In Halloween Hoedown October 8th!

Watching Ninja III: The Domination. I think this is horror somehow? Opening scene was incredible

Peacock has had an underrated horror selection since it’s inception. It’s where I watched a good portion of the universal monster movies.

Just got out of Malignant and it's not what I expected at all. Definitely worth seeing

I absolutely loved Malignant. Love that Wan just went all in and made it super weird.

Wasn’t really a fan of Malignant but glad people are enjoying it. I love James Wan but this one just didn’t land for me. The end is bonkers though and god if i didn’t chuckle at several parts that were just ridiculously over the top awesome.

Donnie Darko has always ruled and the soundtrack is iconic

...debatable but it's certainly not a viewing experience I will forget in a hurry and I commend it for that

I can't get over how there was an entire setpiece tee'd up in a creepy abandoned mental institution with a main character alone and... absolutely nothing happened. she just got the information and left with no scares. isn't that like a war crime for a horror film?

  24. Well isn't that just doing a good job at subverting expectations?

    Shit that sounds patronizing
