This is such a great idea. Love The Gate!

 

Bonkers to say A New Beginning is in your top 3. My rankings keep changing but Jason Lives might be my number 1 or 2. I also put 3D on more than any other so it's a lot higher than most people have it.

 

The only 13th film I have any love for is Manhattan, oddly enough.

 

I also have love for 3D despite it being in my bottom three. I think it just moves a little slower than the others. A great background Jason movie

 

Werewolves Within was disappointing

 

Dang! Do you think it was overhyped? I loved it and am just curious what let you down about it?

 

I got bored and fell asleep during it. I'll finish it eventually but not in a rush whatsoever.

 

One of my friends fell asleep 3/4 of the way too lol. We all kind of agreed it was whatever. I didn't have super high expectations but I like the cast and just felt it could have been better.

 

I enjoyed it but also just felt somewhat whelmed with it.

 

I really liked it and thought it was a big step up from Scare Me. Definitely stoked for his stuff moving forward.

 

Just watched and loved it. Got some Fright Night / Monster Squad vibes as well as what you mentioned. Super fun and a great pick for an outdoor screening with a group.

I’m excited to rewatch the Fridays (and watch some for the first time, think I’m missing 5, 7 and Hell)

 

It’s Friday the 13th so… we’re watching Nightmare on Elm Street lol. My girlfriend’s sister in law has never seen it.

 

I was watching the Nightmare ranking vid and my wife revealed she’s never seen any…or any Fridays. She asked what Freddy’s deal was and if he was funny

 

Friday the 13th part 3 will always be my fave

 

Watching House of the Devil again, hoping the girlfriend likes it. She wasn't happy when GG got bashed.

 

Watched Jason Takes Manhattan with friends tonight and I still love it so much. I know the ghost boy/ending doesn't make any sense at all, but in terms of pure 80s cheese, slasher tropes, aesthetic (neon lighting) and kills (despite a lack of gore) it's just so much fun.

 

The Boy Behind the Door was excellent. So many tense moments.

 

Anyone watch The Resort yet? The trailer looked it could be some dumb fun.
