It sounds beautiful and it's pretty damn affordable, I'm loving the idea of getting one

Yeah, if I didn't already have a Squire tele I'd pick one up. Great sound, great price and great look. Can't go wrong.

Every time I look at Thomann's site I end up talking myself out of buying like 4-5 Harley Benton guitars haha

Maybe take a look at the Reverend line as well? They make really solid instruments. I'm not sure if you're talking about a G&L tribute or one of the Cali ones, so Reverend might be more than you fancy spending.

Reverend's slightly out of my range but my best friend plays Reverend and I love his, it's definitely on my list for the future

Anybody have experience with Graph Tech bridges? Debating on trying one out to replace the corroded bridge on my Les Paul.

I put Graphtech saddles on a Mex Strat and found them to be a very impressive upgrade. I'd hope that their LP style stuff would be equally good?

Also, does anyone here happen to have a Strymon BlueSky. I'm seriously close to buying one, but I'm wondering how the favourite switch works. Can you toggle between your favourite and the current settings? I'm guessing you can, as I don't really know what else it would do, but I can't seem to find it mentioned anywhere.

Seems like a feature you'd loudly mention, since it means you essentially have a two channel reverb.

Decided to pull the trigger on the Strymon and picked up a Crybaby mini for a decent price second hand as well. Reordered and rebuilt the board last night and it's a lot of fun now! Looks a lot neater and makes a lot more sense in terms of where I'll have to switch things on and off regularly. Quite pleased.

Totally understand why the BlueSky is so popular now (and probably the other Strymon pedals too). Ridiculously powerful and simple to use at the same time. The only thing I find a bit strange is that the high and low damp controls behave backwards to what I'd expected.

Finally fully set up and properly intonated. Epiphone Les Paul with Koa Top, Gotoh Aluminum tailpiece and bridge, Blk/tri crone bridge humbucker, Dimarzio AirBucker Neck, black pickguard and Ernie Ball custom .11’s with wound G string. Never really been a gibson/epi guy, but this thing is really just so tailored toward my playing style and the tone I’m going for.

Bought the Walrus Audio Lillian on a whim. Once I read they are calling it "Julia's cousin" I just handed over my card.

So, after starting pretty badly on Reverb, I've sold a couple more things and people seem to be pretty polite on it. Bought and sold a couple of items and everyone has been really nice so far (maybe I've been really lucky). Much nicer than eBay used to be at least.

  19. Reverb rules. I haven't sold anything on it, but I've never had any issues whatsoever with purchasing stuff.

If you're ever in the market for a tap tempo pedal, check this out. I bought one of these, and the seller customizes it to exactly what you need, and is very easy to work with. It works like a charm, and it gets a lot of attention from people, haha.

Reverb has been pretty smooth for me except when I paid $25 for shipping on my op-1 and the dude didn’t even ship it out for a month

  23. My new head comes in today. First all-tube amp. Needed something I can rip gigs with in college, but also can get quiet for dorm use so I bought an Orange Dual Terror. Got a killer deal on Reverb, $470 + $35 shipping.

Also picked up a loop/channel switch from Loop Masters so I can have my tube screamer only boosting one channel.

Thats so sick. Can't go wrong with Orange in my opinion. I have the Pro Crush 120W combo and it's probably the best solid state amp I've ever played.
