Got my Portland tickets! $61 each after fees, but well worth the cost. I’m still in shock that I get to see these guys again and the Roseland is the best venue for this type of show. It Will be a perfect show to chill up in the balcony and have a great time.

I also like being first night of the tour and going in completely blind set list wise. One of the things I love most about GA is that they mix up setlists a ton so that you never know what they will play. September cannot come soon enough.

Have they done any press or anything? Kinda surprised we haven't gotten a podcast or a "how this came together" kinda interview

Got my tickets. Somewhat surprised by their ambition here. They are both playing one of the larger venues in Seattle (bigger than they played back before they broke up) with tickets that run ~60 after fees. Hope it works out for them!

  10. went on hiatus* but yeah

we just assumed 'indefinite hiatus' was code for 'we don't wanna say it yet but we're done', like it has been for hundreds of bands

I’d rather have them be ambitious than play venues that sell out super fast. Hopefully the fact that they haven’t toured like this in 7 years boosts ticket sales.

I’ve been trying to figure it out from the mock photos and I’m not really sure haha .. in some mocks I do see seats but not sure if they’re foldable seats or built in.

Very intrigued to see this venue cause it obviously looks real cool! Stinks for the HOB lol

    These mocks look ridiculous:

I believe the MGM Grand at Fenway is seated aside from the floor. But yeah, the place looks so rad.

Brian has a nasty habit of having songs live version be better than the recorded version. I always preferred the way he ended Wonderful Life live

When reached by phone this week, Fallon said that after his 2020 album Local Honey he felt like he had closed a chapter on his creative life. Now there’s a familiar urge that harks to his past. “You know what’s pretty cool? Rock music,” he says. “Playing guitars. I want to turn up something to 10 and play. Kick an amp over or something. That sounds great right now.”

During quarantine, I had gotten so bored. You go back to all your biographies and rock ‘n’ roll documentaries you’ve already seen 50 times, and the one thing that I kept thinking to myself is, “Man, I really like bands.” It really is one in a million that you get to do something like this. So, not being able to do anything and having time to think maybe is what allowed it to happen.

*me reading this and slowly nodding my head whispering "Yes, Brian....this is the way..."*

Those livestreams returning to the Gaslight albums very likely had a role in him wanting to go back to the band.
