Seeing them on the American Slang tour remains my favorite of their appearances. Loved them opening with the drums in American Slang and it had such a nice mix of Sink or Swim, Senor and the Queen, 59 Sound, and American Slang. Seeing the Sink or Swim songs live was so great

I've posted this before, but this was the first time I saw them back in September 2012. Definitely up their with the best sets I've ever gotten at a show.

Seems like they used to play crazy long sets.

They did. First two times I saw them they played nearly everything off SOS, Senor & The Queen and 59 Sound. The American Slang tour was like 27-29 songs every night. I have a feeling age probably makes it hard to play that long every night though lol

can't be made fun of Prestigious

    Terminal 5 - 11/28/12
Terminal 5 - 2/28/15 (and the Webster Hall show the night before)
Convention Hall - 12/09/11 (if this is the MCR radio holiday show I'm thinking of)

and that's actually it for overlap! i am upstate/Albany area and didn't drive yet when they originally disbanded so it was quite a bus trek to make some of these lol

i had a full running list like that in my Notes app back on iPhone, but i switched since and need to recompile

The Gaslight Anthem Setlist at Terminal 5, New York

i think that one takes the cake for me, Once Upon a Time and closing with We're Getting a Divorce (only time i got to see them play it)

Mine, they had no opener and had a one-off night off from a Hot Water Music/Rise Against tour they were opening for, so they just went all out. Such a special show.

My best gaslight show was probably this one

The Gaslight Anthem Setlist at Pier 26, New York

On the banks of the Hudson, beautiful weather outside, and they played Senor and the Queen specifically for me because Benny is a handsome gentleman.

Devils advocate I have a bad memory of this show because a lot of the crowd was chanting Bruce and it finally ticked Brian off. Became very awkward despite the great show and venue.

My favorite was in 2008 when they were the opener on the Rise Against/Alkaline Trio/Thrice bill, and they played a surprise headliner in my city on an in-between night in a teeny club.

Fair point. That part was very awkward.

    achin' to be Prestigious

i'll always cherish the first time i saw Gaslight in 2009 at the Launchpad, a small venue in Albuquerque.

there's no setlist archived for that date, unfortunately.

the Tempe show setlist from the day before looks similar, if i'm remembering that correctly.

    Great Expectations
    High Lonesome
    Old White Lincoln
    Even Cowgirls Get the Blues
    The '59 Sound
    We Came to Dance
    Señor and the Queen
    Film Noir
    Miles Davis and the Cool
    The Navesink Banks
    Casanova, Baby!
    Boomboxes and Dictionaries
    Here's Looking at You, Kid
    The Backseat

    Encore:
    Once Upon a Time
    (Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise cover)
    I'da Called You Woody, Joe
    Angry Johnny and the Radio
    Encore 2:
    The Patient Ferris Wheel

swap out that "Once Upon a Time" cover for "Left of the Dial" by the Replacements, and that's pretty much the ABQ setlist.

They were great tonight! New songs - especially Positive Charge - were really good.

They played Little Fires twice because they were filming a music video.

They were fantastic at riot fest the other night too. I’ve seen them like 6 times and they sound as good now as they ever have in my experience.
