This is great. It reminded me of The Get Up Kids, Motion City Soundtrack, Limbeck, and The Front Bottoms.

 

As far as I’m aware this is a totally different project, but I had also not even heard of that one until now so I could definitely be wrong

 

This is a huge couple of weeks of releases, and I haven’t even listened to last week’s albums yet

 

There's quite a range there, but I agree with all of them

I also get a lot of classic rock vibes a la Journey, but actually digestable in 2019

 

I get more Springsteen than journey

 

Late to the party but that Overo album is extremely my shit

 

Keith from Empire Empire has a new band and from this clip it sounds real good.

 

Ok yeah that Telethon album is exactly my shit

 

And the vocalist of No Warning !!

 

I talked to Mike Kinsella at the American Football show a couple nights ago. He's planning on going into the studio with S. Carey again this fall to record a new Owen album.

 

I guess this borders emo music, but can y'all give bedroom pop recommendations? Stuff like Florist, Frankie Cosmos, Soccer Mommy, Emily Yacina, Told Slant? I feel like this is very close to emo so this is a good place to ask.

 

do you listen to quarterbacks? theyre on that spectrum, maybe a little more twee. also fairly obvious but coma cinema's last album is really special. radiator hospital sometimes fits if you want smth a lil loud

 

Lomelda, Gabby's World, Jay Som, Any Other, Hatchie, Lala Lala, Yowler, Ratboys, Laura Stevenson, Infinity Crush, Des Ark, Haley Heynderickx.

Some of those are more produced than bed room pop implies but should be a good mix based on the things you said.

One of my all time favorite albums, I'll post it here again cause its not on streaming services. Everything Dies is tho and that record is also incredible.
