Loved their last album and the Celebration Guns split but man this new A Place For Owls album is special.

Didn't know this existed until today. Full length documentary that their drummer put out.

 

A lot of people mentioned some of my favorites. Some ones I liked that I didn’t see mentioned are Barely Civil, Hey, ILY, Stay Inside, and Onsloow.

 

I saw a lot of you guys mention Pomfret as a favorite of this year. I saw their album release show last night and they rocked. They played the new album in full. The crowd was going nuts, too. The Springfield scene is a rowdy bunch.

I was just talking about this book today! I need to check back with Polish amazon whenever they follow suit (it's there, but still the normal price). My partner just got me Where Are Your Boys for christmas though, so I'll catch up on that at least

idk if they're done done but this has an air of finality to it

there was this underground emo adjacent band that released an album a couple years ago that was like an unexpected opus / concept album with long songs that were part I and part II — what was this album? can’t remember for the life of me
