Want to re-iterate that the short fictions album that came out today is very good.

Definition here is obviously very loose, basically chosen more from label/scene affiliations than any definition of "pure" emo. Feel like I listened to less than ever this year, but all of these really stuck with me. If anyone has any strong recs based on this list, I'm definitely open to hear them!

The best emo record I heard this year was the Indigo De Souza (thx again to whoever brought it here), which is probably going to end up in the top 20 of my overall decade list.
