In Currents is really really good, I actually have no criticisms towards it off the top of my head, I just have more praise for the other three. this is why I just say I love them all

I think Imbue as a whole is their best stuff. Sucks that so many people probably wrote them off when they announced a triple disc

That's not true, TMTMTP sold 130-140K and is their best selling record to date. They went on hiatus and the entire music industry / labels dropped into a black hole (in terms of sales) because they didn't adapt to online formats quickly enough.

2011 was not just wild, it was FUCKING insane. The amount of music that was of an extremely high standard was jaw dropping.

What, that it sold that well or that it's their best selling record? Again both make sense: that was the industry prior to the online...we'll say 'revolution'. They sold 130K and ONLY charted for one week at #31, I think. Additionally, the band was coming off TRTC, a record that got a decent push, maintained momentum for months after it came out, and allowed them to tour with some bands that were in the process of becoming ginormous.

    Ranking their releases

TRTC- this record will forever mean too much to me to be passed unfortunately
    Imbue
    In Currents
    For All Of This
    The Mechanic
    The Mother
The Path- I enjoy this for a story time listen every once in a while but revisit it the least.

    The Mother
    The Mechanic
The Room's Too Cold (this and The Mechanic are *very* close for me, but the latter edges it out just a hair)
    Imbue
    For All Of This
    In Currents

Ranking The Path doesn't make sense to me because it serves an entirely different function than the rest of their albums. Idk.

For me I just relate to The Mechanic more. The mother is beautiful and emotional and amazing, but I really love when TEN just does their rock n roll sound with some curveballs thrown in like they do on The Mechanic.

what came out in 2011? I remember nothing off the top of my head that is blowing my mind but im sure there's plenty. 2003, 2006, 2014-16 all stand out to me.
Finding Ace's I Can Make A Mess stuff online is really hard what is that about?? I still haven't heard any of it but I bought everything he had on bandcamp cause it was discounted and like 12 bucks for a lot of music.
