Yeah, I did the Patreon for a bit. And then I think he just forgot that he had one?

 

Patreon, broken promises, etc etc etc. Check out The Early November or Ace Enders thread on this site to see more grievances from myself and others. Obviously I want a new TEN album, but I'm not gonna hold my breath

Lilac is the only TEN record I dislike. I hope the next record is a return to form.

There’s 3 songs I enjoy (Perfect Sphere, My Weakness, and Hit By A Car) but even those I have a few issues with.

After waiting 4 years for a follow up to (IMO) one of their very best records ever - Lilac was a total let down. I went to their tour in support of it and they barely played any songs off it. I feel like Ace knows it was a flop and he’s hungry to make another stellar record which we all know he absolutely can do.

 

This hit the turntable thanks to the thread bump. I still really really like this record, but the B side is just sooo much stronger than the A side. Wish it was a little more even. Fame through The Lilac is my favorite run of TEN songs

 

Lilac pretty quickly became my favorite TEN record. Love how raw and emotional it sounds. Perfect sphere, hit by a car, and make my bed are my favorites.

 

It's definitely the production and the lyrics for me that soured me on this album. I'll give it another shot to see how I feel now that it's been a while.

 

Hodgepodge. I like that word.

I didn’t even know it existed til yesterday haha. It’s pretty good! The production sounds like an improvement

 

Lilac finally clicked with me over the weekend. Only took a few years

 

It’s their best album

 

I'd say third best probably

 

They're a hard discography to rank because there really is no clear best or worst. Today I'll probably go with
