If any of these dates are near you, you need to go. I saw Deafheaven at the Casbah last month and it was probably 100 people cap at most. None of these rooms are gonna be left standing.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Especially when The Number Twelve is doing a few shows with them.

  5. I'd love to go to the Great Scott show but not sure if I can swing it.

Jesus, that is one of the weirdest songs from them I've heard since Irony is a Dead Scene EP. His voice sounds guttural and kind of alien.

Song is sick. That outro is probably nuts live. But I don't feel like theres anything "weird" or "unusual" about it. Seems like theres different elements from previous releases in there.

The weird parts to me are when he's not singing or screaming but letting out a guttural lurching sound. Like he's in pain or something and just HAS to get something out of his body. I don't recall hearing them do that before.

Yeah, it's weird to me because it seems like an even more concentrated version of the band, where it's them to the nth degree. And some of the sounds are different than before, as well as Greg's vocal stylings (as @fronkensteen said). Waiting for a higher quality version before I spin this to death.
