Very glad to hear that! That was the whole point of writing. I haven't written a review since the last Pup album came out. After AP switched to Chorus, I had every intention to continue writing, but I just sort of lost the drive. It started to feel like work to listen to music and have an opinion (although I still have MANY). And since this was always just something I did for fun, it didn't feel worth it to force myself. I still write for my day job every day (i work in advertising), but I think the music-writing portion of my life is done (except for the random over-emotional rambling that you saw in this here thread).

Feeling this album tonight. Can't believe it's been 15 years. A true "That album changed my life" kind of album for me. 10/10 classic.

  3. Where I Want to Be remains one of the best songs “the scene” or whatever ever produced, also about as good of an opening track as you can hope for

I adore that song and it might not even be in my top 5 from this album, which says a lot.

  5. Relistened to the album minutes after posting and it’s definitely still my favorite but holy hell the back half of the album is way better than I remembered

Oh yeah, side 2 is a murderer's row.
