I know this dudes niece. He does his own shrimping with minimal crew and is a complete bad ass. One of our stopping points on my Senior cruise was in Key West and we spent the day looking for cool shit on his personal boat. We didn't find any weird shit but apparently he finds stuff like this (although this is the rarest) all the time.

I don't understand people being ok with chilling in a kayak while they're flopping around. That's terrifying.

 

The most unsettling thing to me is when someone isn't really dead but have suffered something horrific and is so close to surviving but dies painfully anyway. Like in Forensic Files last night there was a woman whose husband got mad and strangled her and then put her body in a freezer for months. I think it turned out that she may not have died from the strangulation and had just been unconscious when he put her in there and it really unsettled me. There was another ep where people shot up these teens hanging at a house and one girl survived the shooting and got to her phone to dial 911, the shooter saw her, and shot and killed her mid-dial. I almost cried. I can't deal with those kind of scenarios.

 

It gets to me when on movies they strangle someone for 15 seconds and they're dead but irl it can take up to 10 fucking minutes.

 

imagine a 10 minute choking scene lmao. Something about death by choking makes me cringe more than most death scenes.

 

I have lived alone since 2012 (except when I moved back in with my parents for a bit) and one time I started choking and I was panicking and thank god I remembered you can heimlich yourself by ramming your sternum area into a counter, etc so I got it out. I had a nasty bruise that hurt when I breathed for a couple months but I was alive so I didn't care lol

I talk to my sister everyday and my parents like 4-5 times a week but I'm still paranoid that I'm gonna die and be one of those mummified people who were dead for years and no one knew. It's why my house is clean bc if I die I don't want the police and shit being like ew gross look at the way this girl lived. It's ridiculous and kinda embarrassing.

Ugh, fell asleep on my back. Sleep paralysis.

Horrifying woman sitting on top of me holding my arms down and saying unintelligible things and making weird tongue rolling/clicky noises in my face

First time I've ever actually been "touched" by a being in my sleep paralysis

Man...I can't begin to imagine how terrifying that is. When this happens do you know that you're dreaming or does it feel more like reality?

 

Yeah it's pretty easy to identify when it's happening like right off the bat, so I kinda just sit there and repeat to myself that whatever is happening isn't real. But it definitely still feels real. Usually it's pretty uneventful by comparison though, this was for sure an anomaly.

 

I've never experienced this thing but I would 100% think it's real and I think it's real for all of you
