Snagged that Newsboys album right away. I think that was my first CD that I owned, everything up until that point was cassette tapes. Wow, that is a sentence that makes me feel old...

It was the second cassette I ever purchased. First being LoveLibertyDisco.

I'm really happy with the late 90s/early 00s CCM albums that have been getting pressed. I know dc Talk, Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline won't ever be huge sellers but there is so much nostalgia with those albums. Any other wish list items people have?

Would love to see the Bleach albums pressed, especially the later T&N releases. Sanctus Real, Tree 63 and Seven Day Jesus would also be great to have. SMLXL has done most of the FIF albums already, maybe get a Brave Saint Saturn trilogy release?

I have an autographed framed Astronomy poster in my bedroom that my wife got in college. They’re a special band for us.

Bleach pressings aren't going to happen, unfortunately. There's just no way they'd sell enough to justify the minimum order amount. Sorry.

Same. I went to their last tour and made a connection at the show that led to me meeting my wife.

Yeah I know they would be a long shot to get pressed, which is a shame. Again For The First Time is at the top of my I know it won't happen wish list.

I went back and listened to a podcast where Davy said they were surprised by the wide variety of T&N/CCM bands that listened to them (The Chariot and Casting Crowns, there's two bands I'd never put together). It did seem like they were in a very unique spot right between the CCM/T&N groups. But also, not many bands could put out "worship" songs like Sun Stands Still and Knocked Out.

Also, Davy and Sam are the nicest guys. I saw them play several years in a row at a summer festival and they always hung around to talk afterwards. You really could tell how much they appreciated their fans.

I know they don't have a huge following but it is great talking about them with other people

Bleach hit a very special spot for me. Again For the First Time has so much nostalgia for me. Like Ace Troubleshooter, I am just happy when I listen to them.

Again for the First Time and Astronomy back to back was so good. I might listen to Farewell the most nowadays. But I think everything S/T and after still gets played.

So now I've been on a 90's/00's CCM kick and was listening to Smalltown Poets. I never knew that Matt Goldman (yes that Matt Goldman) was their drummer?! I had no idea he started out in their band before transitioning to producer-extraordinaire. I saw them in concert sometime around 2000 and he probably would have been with them at the time. Crazy

Looks like FIF The End is Near is the next unoriginal vinyl release. They have really been knocking it out of the park this year

@Chase Tremaine Question, when did the latest episode of the JFH Podcast get recorded? The dude's comments about Kanye having a new pr person and that he is gonna tour next year are surprising after the last few weeks.

  25. the conversation took place about a week before Thanksgiving. It definitely wasn’t a topic I wanted to linger on for long, but I would agree that a tour next year seems unlikely, or daunting, at least.
