i’ve been meaning to tell you

I liked it. Pretty cool to hear everyone's perspective, but I wonder what really happened. Also I want more music from this band.

Looking forward to listening to those podcasts.

Paramore put a new album out today. Just listening to it. There's essentially a mewithoutYou song at the end where Aaron provides the vocals for the whole track. Unfortunately the vocals are buried in the mix so you can't make it all out but worth checking out if you're a mwY fan.

I'll check it out. I lost track of Paramore. So I would have definitely missed it.

New Propaganda album coming next month - released via Humble Beast on June 30th. Full announcement below. With guest appearances from Aaron Marsh and Audrey Assad I'm pretty excited. I always find his records to be thought provoking.

Audrey Assad will be an interesting feature. I wonder if Marsh will be a vocal or production feature (maybe both?).

Kind of random, but when I was in 3rd grade, I thought this was the greatest song of all time. I had never seen the video until today, and it's majestic.

    MWS is the GOAT.

If you're into worship check out Daniel Bashta's new album My Ressurection. Bellows of Praise and Medley are some highlights

Anyone interested in the return of Cool Hand Luke? Mark Nicks is doing a Kickstarter which has a few days left to go. As a big fan of the 'final' album Of Man, I've pledged. I'd maintain that album is one of the best artistic representations of Holy Week I've come across.

Anyway, check it out if you're interested.

Really enjoying the new Classic Crime album. The lyrics are definitely challenging at times.

I haven't listened to it in depth but I enjoyed the interview they did on the Bad Christian Podcast. It was interesting hearing about the lyrics and where Matt was coming from.

I didn't hear that! I'm behind on Bad Christian, will give this a listen later.

There are certainly songs that I find I...disagree with or find tough to swallow perhaps? But I also get where he was coming from on a lot of them.

stoked and also nervous for new Cool Hand Luke. wasn't really a fan of Polyvalent, but if goes back to that classic sound, i'm in.

I'm confident the classic sound will be at least the basis for the music otherwise I imagine he would have released it under Polyvalent. I've just decided to take a chance. If the lyrics are as good as 'Of Man' I'll be happy.

Got my early download of the new Loud Harp album. It does not disappoint. I love their style and I love the emotion in Asher's voice/lyrics. This is going to be one of my favourite albums this year. I can tell already.

Went for a walk this morning to spend some time with it and ended up with tears in my eyes. Hit me hard. There's something about the lyrics and this style of music that gets my heart.

If any of you were Joy Electric fans, The Happy Rant dedicated an episode to talking with Ronnie Martin about what it was like in the Christian Music scene from the late 80's - early 2000's.

Any thoughts on the new Loud Harp album? I've never been into them much besides a song or two, but I decided to listen to their new one and Asaph. I thought Asaph was pretty amazing, but there new one seemed kinda stale. It was too calm and wasn't as intricate.

I love them both to be honest. Asaph was such a personal album to me and this one picks up where that left off. It feels like a natural sequel. I particularly love the emotion of the first two tracks. The lyrics in the second track are unbelievable.

Sorry it's not clicked with you.

I gave the album another listen today and I definitely enjoyed it more. I think the cloudy day helped haha. The second track is pretty sweet and the one two punch of Immanuel to I Will Rest is fantastic.

I recently went back and listened to my old Joy Electric albums, and man, they are weird. In a good way. They were a huge influence on me musically back in the day.
