Also, they’re not so much a country band anymore. I think the name honestly suits them much better.

 

Figured this was coming, after the Lady A name change. Good for them!

They were initially named after the Little Feat album Dixie Chicken -- a great album!

 

New one is so strange, I dig it.

I’ve had Gaslighter stuck in my head for a few days now. So damn catchy.

 

So it looks like the album credits are out via Apple Music and they are swingin for the stars on this one, we could be looking at a HUGE album.

I’ve been listening to the Scrubs podcast and didn’t realize how big Charlotte Lawrence was. Crazy to see she has a co-write on this.

Edit: just did some googling. Apparently Natalie Maines is good friends with Christa Miller and Charlotte has known Natalie for awhile. Neat!

She’s the daughter of Bill Lawrence (show creator) and Christa Miller (actress on the show)
