Take a picture next time you see some, a lot of their beers age really well so maybe that's a good thing depending on the style

Higher ABV usually pumps up the sweetness which sells better. People like sweet/fruit.

The Bruery like exclusively makes beers over 16% that taste like they're half that. It's amazing, honestly.

I don't mind high ABV if the style fits, but I can't do the triple/quad IPAs. They just don't work.

Bruery bottles good to great, bruery cans not worth the money. Just my opinion thanks to all that I've tried thanks to @irthesteve :D

it's a pretty fair blanket statement overall, though there are many beers that the both bottle and can, so those wouldn't really count haha

    wanna go for a ryyyde

i nurse the SHIT out of my beers so i definitely like that 5 to 7 range. high abv beers can definitely get rough once they get close to room temp

I’d say 75% of the beers I drink are anywhere from 8-12%

Rarely, if ever drink anything less than 6.5%

I like to take time with the beers though so it’s not unusual for a 16 oz can to take me 45 min to an hour to finish. I keep my fridge set at 45 degrees so the warmer it gets after a while doesn’t bother me.

  11. This is pretty good if you are a NJ person. Normal yacht juice is better (my favorite Icarus). It's a Collab with heavy reel. Not sure I've had anything by them before

only one that comes to mind from a 5 year old road trip to kansas city is co-op brewing in OKC. their horny toad blonde with black current was quite memorable when i was there. don't even know if that place is still open.

I’ve been to Tampa (well, St. Pete) a few times over the past few years (as recently as March) and tried as many local crafts as I could. Nothing blew me away but I tried quite a few different ones from 3 Daughters, HOB Brewing, St. Pete Brewing Co., Tampa Bay Brewing Co., Cigar City & Brew Bus. I may be forgetting a few others but those are the ones I can remember.

I’ve not had any but isn’t green bench in that area too and supposed to be very good?

Oh yeah, Green Bench is in St. Pete as well. I’ve had the Sunshine City. That’s the only one I tried though.
