Had St Feuillen at Hopleaf yesterday and that was one of the best easy drinking beers I’ve ever had

Haven’t tried anything great lately but my dad is obsessed with trying any pizza boy he hasn’t had and will drive far distances to pick some up.

Just an IPA. Used to be a fairly frequent release for them, but now less so

I would check out St. Oners. Go to Monks though. Arguably the best beer bar in the country. They should have Russian River Blind Pig on tap.

edit: it’s pliney at the moment.

it's named after where i was born  but it's an ipa so :puke:

lmao, i love that that became a trending topic on twitter; people acknowledging how oversaturated IPA's are in stores, bars, breweries

Oklahoma City breweries and bar recs? I've done Prairie, Anthem, Bricktown, and Twisted Spike in the past but open to more on my next trip.

Easily one of my favorite Chicago beers and maybe my favorite area brewery not named Revolution. F9B1A634-8292-4ABA-A77F-39D60D0BD8A4.jpeg

Going to Citi Field tonight. Their beer list has gotten progressively worse since Mikkeller NYC left, but I am going to be plenty happy drinking Newburgh Cream Ale.

This is ridiculous. Spyglass is the most underrated brewery in NH.

Was finally allowed to properly leave my base today after being in country since late March and picked up any decent looking S Korean beer I could find at the closest market.

  21. Got it just to try it but I don't get the appeal of these high abv beers. They always have a rough finish, seem weirdly thick, and just aren't pleasant to drink.

Need more 5-6% IPAs but the trend seems to be almost exclusively 7.5-8% these days.

The impressive feat is breweries who can make high ABV taste like nothing. Other Half used to be good at it.

  23. I've definitely have had incredible 8% beers by a lot of breweries but not sure I've had one that is 10-12% that id go back to. I always try them for the hell of it.

As the resident fanboy of Bruery, I've had a TON of 10-20% ABV beers that don't taste that level at all. Or I'm just too deep in and have no sense of reality anymore

  25. I always see bruery bottles in the shelf but they have collected dust and probably have been there for three years so I never buy them lol
