I consider it one of my favorite albums of all time, BUT I was going through a bad breakup around the time I discovered it in ‘09 thus I don’t like to listen to it that often. The City in particular is such a emotional listen for me, but I’m very glad you are discovering them.

 

Taking a day trip up to Hill Farmstead tomorrow and making a stop at the new Tree House location on the way. I wish one of them was open for pours, but we’ll be stopping by Parker Pies at least.

 

Visiting my partners family in Oregon, got to go to Ninkasi today for lunch. The beer was very good, and the food was outstanding. Definitely recommend if anyone visits Eugene, OR.

 

Really enjoyed the pizza when I was there last October.

Saw Other Half is starting up a mixed ferm program

 

Other Half also announced a collab with Rothaus, released hard seltzers, and expanded their distro to North Jersey,

 

You can get other half really easily in south jersey now. It's insanely expensive though. 22-26 bucks a four pack.

 

Still not as ridiculous as Equilibrium prices in Jersey, like $30 a four pack for the double IPAs

 

picking up for rainy MDW from Equilibrium in a bit, excited for the District96 collab.

 

Oh this is good.

 

And I complain about a 4-pack of Marz 12-oz costing $15, sheesh

One of my local breweries collaborated with Toppling Goliath which confuses me, but it was reallllly good!

 

Went to the Boston Children's Museum and noticed we parked right next to Trillium so I picked some up... place was absolutely PACKED inside with the new (lack of) rules in place.

tree house is just too good

 

Very hazy is my fav tree house followed closely by julius.

I'm getting tired if DIPAs though. 8% just packs too much a punch in my old age. Trying to focus on more lower ABV beers once I can get through everything from my New England trip.

 

8% is water to me

not really but I love it

 

The new Sierra Nevada Summer Break is a great session drink. Very crushable
