picked up a pair of champagne stoppers because I was told their the best for saving a bottle for at least a night. will report back to see how it goes.

Can confirm a champagne stopper will work for a day, cant say I've tested it longer than that for beer. I've had prosecco last longer though, but that has more carb.

 

I work at a bar/bottle shop in SF and I’m very curious to see what our response will be to the Coronavirus. So far, no word, but we’ll see...

 

So far small businesses don't pose nearly as much of a threat as larger ones, but honestly who knows... I am sure you will start getting less customers as this goes further

 

the liquor and beer stores are crazy rn where i live. i just got off a stupid 14 hour shift and wanted my weekly case but its like black friday for booze.

might be cuz theres more cases in my area. if what my coworker told me is true then today my county closed down all its public schools for like the next month.

 

I saw that Ohio and Maryland are the first two states to close all K-12

 

We were absolutely dead today. Picked up a bit for dinner, but still slower than usual. Curious to see how this weekend is.

As a broad market sales rep I can also attest to how busy all my liquor stores have been. Very good sales, and I sell Corona among others. I have not seen a dip in Corona sales from any of this. Contrary to those who say otherwise

 

Well I went into work today, and it was pretty quiet but not as dead as I thought it might be. So far, we are just doing even more cleaning than we normally would but there is speculation that if things get worse, we may have to take more drastic action.

Pleasantly surprised to see how stocked the beer aisles were at my local grocery store given everything going on. Couldn't get chicken or toilet paper, but picked up two six-packs!

 

All we need is beer and spam
