Yesterday is fucking incredible.

 

The best example of Lennon's additions to McCartney is easily him tacking on "It can't get much worse" to "Getting Better"

Paul's harmony on 'Dr. Robert' is incredible

 

Any idea what the next release in the Archive Collection will be? Really hoping that 'Flaming Pie' and 'Chaos and Creation' get releases soon. Although if he does plan to have a new LP out this year I can see them all being pushed back anyway.

 

Why is this thread always so dead! I listen to the Beatles daily. Just me?

Yea I can't say daily, but I don't listen to anyone daily. It's inarguable that the Beatles are one of the greatest bands ever, and there's so much material and variety, that they never get boring to listen to. I mean there are still songs I need to listen to more. Plus there's all the post-Beatles projects.

 

I don't listen to anything daily, but I listen to the Beatles all the time

 

I don't think a week every goes by where I don't listen to or talk about a Beatle.

My dad and I went for a walk last night and just talked about The Beatles for like 35 minutes.

 

I'd love to get more into them now that I'm older but there's just always so much coming out that I'm behind on anyway, y'know

Yea I could've used this thread when I was going to see Sir Paul. I was shouting into a void on here about how excited I was.

 

When/where was it? Want to see the setlist

 

I honestly want to, I feel like hearing their weird chord progressions regularly with fresh ears would also help me from a guitar playing standpoint. I mean just look at In Reverie if that's what listening to the Beatles does for you I'll listen every day

Seeing Magical Mystery Tour and Get Back at Lolla was a really unexpected treat (he hadn't been playing either on that tour), and Brittany Howard joining for Get Back pushed it over the edge.

I've Just Seen A Face might be my favorite Beatles song, so seeing that was amazing.
