Yeah the Academy voters must have really thought they were voting for season 3 and not season 2 because I didn't expect this to lose best comedy series at all.

Chris Storer is a 42 year old elder millennial white guy who does his own music supervision.

 

I like the first two albums as much as the next person, but I can't remember a show using so much of one particular bands' music unless that band existed within the show.

 

Counting Crows, Van Morrison, and The Replacements are also used in this show a ton.

It's almost as if the show has good taste

 

It is easy to see why season three was received so differently. It is almost anti-narrative compared to the first two seasons. The standalone stories in single episodes is obviously influenced by Louie and Atlanta, and it might be the best season so far.
