And people who won’t fly CANNOT be convinced despite all the statistics in the world that it is much safer than driving.

I hate roller coasters. I hate that dip in your stomach when you’re falling. But flying is nbd to me so that says a lot haha. You don’t even get that “weightless” feeling that makes it scary to be high up. Maybe you get 1-2 seconds of it here and there if you fly on a stormy day.

Scariest part is really just the sound / feeling of the wheels landing on the tarmac at the end. But taking off just feels like you’re on a speed train

But I mean if you have a strong fear of heights or claustrophobia then yeah planes would fucking suck

I used to speed a lot but now that I lost my car in an accident and have been driving my girlfriend’s I drive like a grandma

So much better to just be extra patient and make sure nothing shitty happens. Even if you know how to avoid causing an accident, other idiots don’t.

I’m sure when I get a car I’ll naturally over time start getting impatient and take it for granted again though. Cause that’s what happens when you drive all the time in big cities and get too cocky about it / fed up with traffic haha.
