it was always weird to me when bands would just start writing songs about... writing songs or touring

i mean it makes sense because you write what you know, but talk about alienating your audience lol.

So last night in a new episode of men fucking suck we're seeing The Faint and this guy is dancing in the front super obnoxiously around this group of girls just like flailing his limbs and and jumping in to them so from what I could see it looks like one of the girls just kind of pushed him back the other direction a bit and this guy just gets in her face and is screeeeeeeeeaming at her, loud enough you could even hear it through the music and he was so visibly angry and drunk I really thought he was about to hit this girl in the face. Luckily one of the members saw it and motioned security over to them and they kicked the guy out. I also feel bad for his s/o she just had this mortified look on her face.

 

Walking, running, driving, traveling, flying, boating, being excommunicated, etc.

 

I enjoy the Saves the Day album about being in a band called Saves the Day. Idk, I don't really see it as alienating fans. Write what you know and if tour life is what you know, then write about it.
