This song is destined for a Peleton commercial.

Yeah I kept expecting a Matty verse and it never came. Liking the song though

Dirty Hit has hit a stride. It’s probably not since Drive Thru that i’ve watched an entire label for releases.

It’s so busy that I didn’t know what I thought of it on first listen but 10 minutes later the hook was going through my head and now I can’t stop listening to it

Feel like it sounds closer to The Sound than anything

As "The 1975" it is, I feel like it really appeals to the Basement Jaxx fan in me on some level...

So much I love about it but it’s also a train wreck so idk

Haha idk it’s def not a trainwreck imo, great marriage between How I’m Feeling Now and the house influences on Notes

Really? I think it’s just so busy and the melody on the chorus just doesn’t feel like it fits.

I mean it’s a hyperbolic term to use because I do find it fun and real cool in spots there’s just a few things I wish I could tweak

Yeah! Idk, the house feel allows Charli to play way more with the melody. She does her standard triplet thing, then does a whole other melody for the verse, which may sound messy but O love it

I’ll see how I feel in the car tomorrow morning. It makes a big difference.

It's not The Sound, but it is still a really incredible song. I do wish, and this will never happen, that George would take a step back from mixing the '75, because his mixes do tend to be overcrowded.

I'm pretty sure Jon Gilmore does all the mixing and engineering for their stuff now. He was around with Crossey's crew during the first two records then he's their primary go to engineer now. I could be wrong tho
